Brian Post #1

So, I have started to read Slaughterhouse Five, and I have found that it is a very good book so far. I felt the beginning was a little too long and so it got boring, but it certainly gave some important insight on the story behind the book. It definitely wasn't unnecessary, but it was boring. I definitely like the theme of the story, and the setting. The author's writing style is great too. I feel that this is definitely a book i'm going to like.
The story follows a plot that I have not seen before. It is a very interesting concept, indeed. Maybe a little far out there, but it just makes Billy sound more insane, which is a problem he is coming across a bunch. It makes it easier to connect with the plot, which improves the story. I ended right as Billy was beginning to explain his story (kind of a cliffhanger) so I can't wait to find out what happens next. His story is crazy, but something has to happen for 80 more pages, so i'm looking forward to the adventure.
The members of our group are Justin Knutson and Brian Gonzalez-Montoya. The books we are reading are the Slaughterhouse Five, and Breakfast of Champions, in that order.
